Verne Troyer’s Death Ruled Suicide from Alcohol Abuse

Verne Troyer‘s loss of life has formally been dominated a suicide … TMZ has confirmed.

The L.A. County Coroner’s Office launched an post-mortem report Wednesday saying the ‘Austin Powers’ star died of “sequelae of alcohol intoxication” … mainly alcohol abuse. Shortly after his loss of life, the Coroner’s Office “deferred” Verne’s explanation for loss of life … pending an investigation. The Coroner’s Office has now decided alcohol abuse is what killed the actor.

As we reported … Verne struggled with alcoholism for years and had been to rehab many occasions. In early April, Verne had been rushed to a hospital after cops bought a name that he was suicidal. We had been advised he was being handled for alcohol poisoning as a result of his BAC was triple the .08 restrict.

He’d been on life help ever since — however, as TMZ first reported, he died a number of weeks later. He was 49.
