Trevor Donovan Rescues Puppy While Shooting Movie at Lake Havasu

Former “90210” star Trevor Donovan is saving lives in a a lot hotter zip code now — he rescued an exhausted pet in Lake Havasu … TMZ has discovered.

We obtained this video, shot Thursday on the lake bordering Cali and Arizona … and you’ll see Trevor dive into motion. We’re instructed the canine — a 4-month-old golden retriever named Shadow — belonged to one of many crew members on the film Trevor’s capturing on the market.

The pup had apparently swam out too far, and was tiring because it tried to get again. Trevor busted out his finest butterfly stroke and helped the canine again to shore.

Trevor’s capturing a jetskiing film referred to as “Hot Water” … which he’s described as an homage to ’80s and ’90s comedies like “Caddyshack” and “Ski School.”

Talk about excellent timing — for him and the canine — Thursday occurred to be Trevor’s birthday. He can’t say it wasn’t a contented one.

Only draw back for Trev? It’s not typically his shirtless bod will get upstaged, however Shadow is REALLY cute!
