What’s a basic TV sitcom and not using a catchy theme music?
While Marvel’s first TV effort, WandaVision, will not be a basic (but) nor a sitcom, it does search to lovingly recreate beloved TV legends like The Dick Van Dyke Show, Bewitched, The Brady Bunch, and extra. And to that finish, it’s introduced in a pair of songwriting titans to pen some irrepressible jingles.
Before breaking the sample within the world-expanding fourth episode, WandaVision’s first three episodes had been every accompanied by a brand new tune to play over the opening credit. Each of those theme songs carefully mirror the type of that episode’s respective decade. The first is a sunny ‘50s quantity that includes lyrics like “She’s a magical gal in a small town locale. He’s a hubby who’s part machine.” The second is a largely lyric-less tackle the bubbly Bewitched opener. The third is a really expository ‘70s tune.
Each music is written by EGOT award-winning (Emmy, Grammy, Oscar, and Tony) duo Robert Lopez and Kristen Anderson-Lopez (Frozen).
