Dwayne Johnson Deserves Support for ‘John Henry,’ Says Actor Roger Aaron Brown

Dwayne Johnson is getting a uncooked deal from individuals who suppose he’s not black sufficient to play John Henry … in accordance with Roger Aaron Brown, who had the position again within the ’90s.

Roger performed John Henry within the 1995 film ‘Tall Tale,’ and tells us he doesn’t have an issue with The Rock getting into his sneakers. He tells us there’s far more to the position than being African-American, so complaints Dwayne’s pores and skin isn’t darkish sufficient are nonsense.

As Roger sees it, Dwayne has the appearing chops and bodily stature to play John Henry — the railroad employee labored himself to loss of life, in accordance with folklore.  

The Rock is clearly thrilled about his upcoming film, “John Henry and the Statesmen,” and his lifelong ardour for the story is sufficient for Roger to get on board.
