E3 2017 is here! Watch a live stream of all of the big press conferences above!
While the usual series of leaks, rumors, and the always dreaded leaked rumors have preceded this year’s shows, the truth is that we aren’t entirely sure what to expect from the industry’s major players. We know there’s going to be a whole lot of Project Scorpio news coming from Microsoft, we think that Nintendo is going to be leaning on Super Mario Odyssey in the same way that they emphasized Breath of the Wild at last year’s E3, and we expect Sony to show more of God of War, Days Gone, and perhaps The Last of Us 2.
However, this year’s show’s feels somewhat special in that there is a lot of room for surprises. Bethesda has already teased the reveal of two new projects, Ubisoft will likely drop a ton of new information about Far Cry 5, Assassin’s Creed, and The Crew 2, and we’re not quite ready to rule out the possibility that some of those leaked rumors will come to fruition.
E3 2017 will be a bit different from previous years as more major publishers are hosting their press conferences during the weekend before the main show. You’ll want to be sure to stay tuned a little earlier than usual, then, as studios like EA, Bethesda, and Microsoft kick off E3 with what figure to be some of the biggest announcements of the entire show.
Of course, the best way to know what games are going to show up at E3 is to actually follow the show as it happens. So far as that goes, we recommend that you stay with us throughout E3 2017 as we bring you all the latest updates from both the major press conferences and the show floor.
